Bought this as a gift and it totally delivered. It's wicked small- the edges are sharp, it auto-installs and the price is right. If you need Bluetooth capability, this does the trick.
Overall its defiantly not the biggest flaw but dont expect to type or use the media keys from long distances. My only complaint is with the range of the bluetooth. Well I think this is a pretty good product. Slid right into my computers USB port and had the easiest install process ive ever seen. Currently, i am only using the Logitech DiNovo Keyboard with the adapter and it works perfectly when my keyboard is within 3 feet of the adapter/computer (on my desk) but when i move to my bed which is about 10 feet from my adapter/computer it begins to have a small delay with typing and the media keys.
I got no issues doing this. Once I set up the virtual port in palm sync, it worked like a charm. I am running Windows 7, however, unlike a couple other posts, I had to use the installation disk that came with the adapter in order to get my computer to recognise my palm. For those using this to sync a palm, the com port needed to set up the virtual port in sync manager is com 7.
Windows just went out to the net and downloaded the proper drivers. It just works. I am totally impressed with this Bluetooth Adapter. After buying an El-Cheepo adapter off of ebay and dealing with it continually dropping connection, this adapter is fantastic. I am running Windows 7 Professional and did not even need the included software.
For those of you with windows 7, dont install the CD. Save yourself some trouble and enjoy. It works like a charm. Simply just plug it in and windows will install the correct drivers and do the rest.
